Mushroom Coffee
The core ingredient of the Mushroom Coffee blend is organic instant Arabica coffee, grown in accordance with fair-trade standards and enriched with the mushrooms cordyceps and chaga.
Many people avoid coffee because of the unpleasant energy spike and crash caused by caffeine. The super mushrooms added to our Arabica coffee help soften and balance this effect, creating a smoother and more sustained energy experience.
Cordyceps
The cordyceps extract included in the blend contains more than 30% polysaccharides.
In nature, cordyceps grows in the mountainous regions of Tibet, Nepal, and remote areas of China—often even underground. It thrives at altitudes around 3,000 meters and forms through a unique interaction between a fungus and a caterpillar: fungal spores settle on the larva, from which the mushroom then grows.
Chaga
Chaga (Inonotus obliquus) grows on damaged parts of living trees such as birch, beech, and alder, maturing over three to five years. The most prized chaga develops in regions with extremely low temperatures (around –40°C, such as Siberia).
Chaga is a parasitic fungus that draws nutrients from the host tree. Once harvested, it grows back repeatedly until the tree becomes completely depleted.
