What are superfoods?

Superfood is food, that is typically super-rich with nutrients, such as vitamins, minerals, amino acids, fatty acids and other functional substances that promote good physical and mental well-being and health. Superfoods are usually unprocessed, natural foods, often dried and powdered.

Where do your ingredients come from? 

Our products are based on medicinal, edible mushrooms, originating from the local (EU) environment. The rest of the ingredients are from where they primarily originate around the world.

Are your products organic?

Our company is proud to hold an organic certificate which is supervised by Slovenian supervisory authorities. Most of our products are organic, except from those which contains anorganic or non-organic components. Currently, we only have two such products: the blend Beauty Within and Marine Collagen Powder.

Are your products GMO-free?

All of our raw materials and thus products are completely GMO-free. GMOs are not permitted in organic production and processing.

Do your products contain any artificial sweeteners, flavors, colors, preservatives or additives?

Absolutely not! Moreover, our products are free from any refined sugars and contain only natural sweeteners in the form of powdered fruit and/or spices.

Are your products vegan? 

Most of our products are vegan. The only exceptions are the blend Beauty Within and the Marine Collagen Powder since they contain hydrolyzed fish collagen.

What are nootropics?

Nootropics are natural substances, superfoods, that have positive effects on our cognitive functions. The short-term benefits of nootropics are higher productivity, greater focus and concentration, improved memory and enhanced energy. In the long run, nootropics help to “renew” the brain, suppress neurodegenerative diseases, slow down the aging processes and maintain and improve mental abilities.

What are adaptogens?

Adaptogens are natural substances, plants or plant extracts. They help the body to cope with physical and mental stress and they restore balance in the body. Adaptogens adjust their functionality depending on what the body needs the most in that particular moment.

What are medicinal mushrooms?

Medicinal mushrooms have been well-known for centuries and are considered a part of traditional medicine. They are edible mushrooms that contain many healthy bioactive substances, mainly polysaccharides and triterpenes. Various studies have shown that certain mushrooms activate the immune system, have antiviral, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, inhibit the growth and development of certain types of cancer, regulate blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol. They are also a rich source of antioxidants, contribute to overall well-being and much more.

What are medicinal mushrooms used for?

Most mushrooms are classified as adaptogens, as they have a high ability to adapt and “correct errors” in the body. Moreover, each mushroom has its own functional domain in the body on which it acts – for example, increase endurance, improve memory function, enhance the immune system, calm, boost libido…

Where do your mushrooms originate from?

Our mushrooms are locally grown and originate from Slovenia. The only exception is the Chaga mushroom, harvested in the wild, also in the EU.

Can your mushrooms cause hallucinations?

No, absolutely not! Mushrooms are completely safe and don’t cause hallucinations, inebriation, nausea or any other similar unwanted effects.

Can I take multiple blends/single superfoods at once?

Absolutely yes! Our blends and single superfoods are designed to be very functional. Most of our users consume more than one blend at once. They choose them according to what they want to achieve: increased energy, better appearance, detoxification, achieving a calming effect, improved cognitive function, etc.

How much product is in one/each can? 

Depending on the product. One package, if used within recommended portions, would be usually sufficient for three to eight weeks.

How should I store your product? 

Store the products in a cool, dry place, away from direct light and heat. This is especially important after opening the product.

Are Nutrispoint’s cans reusable and recyclable? 

Our products are packed in high-quality tin cans. They are very environmentally friendly. The tins are 100 % plastic-free and aluminium-free, with zero effect on the contents. Recycled tin metal keeps its physical characteristics and could be quickly ready for reuse in many other industries. Furthermore, we have equipped our cans with illustrations that depict the architectural landmarks of Slovenia’s capital Ljubljana and symbolic motifs that represent the ingredients in our products. The result is a charmingly painted tin can with a lid that can also be reused for other purposes.

What is the shelf life of your products?

The shelf life depends on the product and its ingredients. Most of our products have a shelf life of at least one year from the date of production. But a sealed product could be used even after its expiry date.

What is the correct way of consuming your superfoods? How should I take blends and single superfoods?

Most of our blends and single superfood products are very easy to prepare. Just mix the powder into cold or hot water, depending on the product. Our blends can also be used in various recipes (smoothies, desserts, bowls, spreads, soups, etc.). All the recipes and tips can be found on our website under each product or recipe tab.

Can I take your products while pregnant/nursing?

We don’t recommend using most of our products during pregnancy or while nursing, as no studies have been conducted on pregnant or breastfeeding mothers. Pregnant and lactating mothers can without restriction use the products Beauty Within, Green Vitality blend, Organic Taiwanese Spirulina, and Premium Marine Collagen. Nevertheless, in this case, we suggest that you consult with us or your doctor about the specific product you would like to consume.

Can kids take your products?

Our current range of products is intended for adults. However, some of our products could be consumed by older children, albeit in smaller amounts. They could benefit from half of the adults’ recommended daily portion of products Green Vitality blend, Organic Mushroom Cocoa, Organic Taiwanese Spirulina and Premium Moringa Powder. We suggest consulting with us or your child’s physician before you purchase or your child consume any of our products.

Are your products safe if I have a medical condition?

Our products are not artificial pharmaceutical formulations. They are powdered organic superfoods. However, we suggest consulting with your doctor if you have any doubts or would like to consume our products alongside your medications.

Where is your company located?

Our company’s headquarters, development department and manufacturing facilities are located in the beautiful capital city of Slovenia, Ljubljana.

What forms of payments do you accept?

We accept payments with all major credit cards such as Mastercard, Visa, American Express and with Paypal.

What countries do you ship your products to?

We ship all over the world.

Do you offer free shipping?

In Slovenia, shipping is free on orders over 50€ and for the rest of the world, the shipping is free for orders over 100€.

How long does it take to receive my product?

SLO: Our shipping partner is Pošta Slovenije. After the package is dispatched, you can expect it to be delivered the following day. 

Other countries: Our shipping partner is DHL Express. EU customers could expect their package the following day. Delivery to the USA usually takes 2–3 days. 

Most of our packages are delivered within 3 working days. Orders placed over the weekend or during bank holidays are dispatched on Mondays.

What is your return policy?

If you are not satisfied with the products purchased from the Nutrispoint online store or would like to cancel the purchase (contract) for any reason, please send us an e-mail within 14 days of receiving the product: support@nutrispoint.com. You do not need to state the reasons for withdrawal from the contract, and you must send the ordered goods with the submitted copy of the invoice undamaged within 14 days of receiving the message in the original packaging to: NUTRISPOINT d.o.o, Pod bori 2, PC Komenda, 1218 Komenda, Slovenia. You will be refunded with your full purchase price within 14 days of the cancellation of the purchase. However, we are not responsible for the costs associated with returning the goods.

Who do I contact if I received damaged products? 

If the package is physically damaged, its missing content or shows any signs of opening, initiate a complaint process with the delivery service that delivered the package. To do this, firstly notify our customer service/support team at support@nutripoint.com. We will dispatch a delivery service that will take over the package in the same condition you received it (do not add or remove anything from the package). Then file a reclamation/complaint report. Working with the delivery service, we will ensure that all complaints are resolved as soon as possible.
